Sign Installer - Interior & Exterior Signage.

We're looking for skilled Installers to bring our signage projects to the finish line with precision and care. At J&A / Modulex, you'll work on-site installing a wide range of interior and exterior sign types for high-profile clients across Texas.

Position Summary

As a Signage Installer, you will be responsible for installing a wide range of signage types, dimensional letters, ADA signage, pylons, illuminated signs, vinyl graphics, and digital kiosks. You will collaborate closely with project managers, field supervisors, and other trades to ensure installations are executed safely, accurately, and professionally.

This physically demanding position requires technical skill, reliability, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Read and interpret installation plans, shop drawings, and architectural documents.

Safely unload, transport, and install signage components on interior and exterior job sites.

Operate hand and power tools, lifts, scaffolding, and other equipment.

Ensure exact alignment, spacing, and secure fastening as per design specifications.

Conduct site surveys and confirm dimensions prior to installation.

Coordinate with general contractors and other trades on site.

Complete detailed installation reports, including photographs and documentation for quality.

Maintain tools, equipment, and safety gear; adhere to OSHA and company safety standards.

Represent J&A / Modulex professionally while on client sites.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

98%+ first-time accuracy in sign placement and installation.

Zero workplace safety incidents or OSHA violations.

Timely completion of assigned installation schedules.

Positive client and project team feedback on professionalism and workmanship.

100% completion of installation documentation and photo reports.

Education & Experience

High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications a plus.

Minimum 2 years of experience in signage installation, construction, or related trades.

Familiarity with electrical installations (low voltage) is a plus.Ability to safely work at heights, lift 50+ lbs, and handle physically demanding tasks.Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
